Ashley Brennan Relays Recap + Week at a Glance

Weekend Recap:     Link to Full Results
This past Saturday, our boys and girls competed at the Ashley-Brenan Relays at Waterford Mott High School.  A chillier day than what the rest of the week offered, but that didn’t stop our boys from competing very well with many personal-best marks, a near miss on a school record and 2 school records being broken!
Shot Put/Discus – Hunter Goodman had an outstanding double placing 5th overall in both the SP and Disc with throws of 45′ 6″ & 136′ 3″
Distance Medley – The relay consisted of Jesse Edelstein, Daniel Evans, Garrett Peck and Anthony Giannobile placed 3rd overall and broke the School Record in the event with a time of 10:46.75
Middle Distance Medley – The foursome of Garrett Peck, Wesley Brightmon, Liam Smith and Isaac Darragh broke the School Record in a time of 6:15.37! Big kudos to Liam who was asked to help out right after he consumed two delicious cheeseburgers thinking his day was done after the 4×1600.
300h – Alec Pinson ran an outstanding time of 42.18 (a personal record by 1 full second!), and narrowly missed the School Record in the event.
PHOTOS – Here is a link to photographs that I was able to capture from the meet, if you have any you’d like to share please feel free to send them our way or let us know and we can share the folder for you to upload them yourself.
Tuesday, May 2nd – No School + Dual v. Monroe/Pioneer – at Monroe High School
Address: 901 Herr Rd, Monroe, MI 48161
There was a little confusion on this date with the powers that be due to the Voting Day that is taking place tomorrow in Ann Arbor. Although we do not have school, this is a full team meet and we will be taking everyone to Monroe. Please plan on meeting at Skyline at 1:45pm, there is a bus to take the teams to Monroe HS and back home.
Friday – May 5th – Golden Triangle Invitational at Saline HS
Address: 1300 Campus Parkway, Saline, MI
Saturday, May 6th – Warrior Invite at Woodhaven HS
Address: 24787 Van Horn Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48134
We have a split squad ordeal happening this weekend, much like we did two weekends ago with Jack&Jill/Balawajder Relays. Some athletes will be at Saline while others will be at Woodhaven, details and line ups will be sent out after tomorrow’s meet.
