Week at a Glance – Week 5

I hope you all had a great spring break and are ready to get back to the usual school schedule.
A crazy fact is that we are officially done with 1/3 of the season – the next 8 weeks will be flying by! This week we enter the competition phase of the season, please make sure to have checked the team calendar (team site or athletic.net) and have your calendars up to date.

Thursday, April 13th – vs. Saline
We have our first conference meet at home on Thursday vs. Saline.  Field Events begin at 4:30pm, Running Events at 4:45pm

Athletes, please be at the track by 3:00pm to help with setup and facility prep, we ask that you stay until the end of the meet. The nature of our sport does not provide many opportunities to compete as an entire program (105+ between boys and girls) – this is one of those opportunities, please be there to support each other.
Families, we would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping with the various tasks to properly host a Track & Field meet. You do not need much experience or knowledge of the sport to be able to be a major help and supporter. Tasks can be such as helping measure Shot Put/Discus throws, helping raise up the Pole Vault/High Jump bars, or corralling runners who just finished a race to line up in order. We greatly appreciate every bit of help and if you are interested please sign up via this Google Spreadsheet
If you can assist with the meet, please plan on arriving at the Skyline Outdoor Track 3:30pm-3:45pm.

Saturday, April 15th – Practice 10:00am to Noon
This is not an optional practice fellas!!!
